Valentine's Day ; 2/14/14

I'm definitely one of those people that thinks love should be expressed every single day of the year versus one special day, however, I will admit that I don't mind the extra attention because I think we sometimes forget about things as simple as reminding our friends and family of how much we love them with how chaotic and busy our lives can be. I felt truly blessed with the texts and cards I got from family, and the dinner I spent with my father was super fun. We went to a delicious little Italian restaurant called 'Spiazzo Ristorante' that the family and I dined at for Christmas Eve as well. They're all so sweet and their food is amazing, and if you ever plan on stopping by you need to try their raspberry sorbet. Then after dinner we stopped by the Good Will next door where I bought a black sleeveless blazer and a cream leather vest for ten dollars total. Man, do I love sales and thrift stores!

As for the rest of my night, I've just splurged on YouTube, ending the night with a bunch of WULAS which has been my current obsession as of late. Kalel's blog was actually what inspired me to make this blog. Everything about her style is so me and if I had the money I'd totally buy up a wardrobe and furniture similar to her's. I also share a lot of the same design loves, chic and vintage, French cottage-y kind of furniture, and even better, she loves animals! Anthony is also a total sweetheart and seeing them interact is so adorable. I can't wait to see them tie the knot! <3

And to end my little blurb for the night, I'm gonna show you all what I wore for the night :). My two favorite things about this outfit are the shoes which I've been absolutely obsessed with and wear them pretty much every time I leave the house as well as my make-up job. I felt super stunning tonight! I'm also super proud of this outfit because every single piece was either bought wholesale, from a thrift shop, or on sale so the entirety was probably about thirty some dollars, including my bangs piece which was only about five dollars. Gotta save!
